Description

Pasta with tuna from Jamie Oliver
It is a favorite Sabbath dish Jules - wife Jamie. Very tasty and gorgeous, although the effort it requires little. I want to share with You a recipe from my favorite book "Cook with Jamie".

Ingredients

  • Pasta

    500 g

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Chili

    1 piece

  • Basil

    1 coup

  • Tomato

    800 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Tuna

    2 can

  • Olive oil

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Parmesan

    1 handful

Cooking

step-0
Let's start with the sauce: onion, finely chopped, chili pepper - remove seeds and finely chopped bunch fresh Basil, leaves cut from stems, chopped, tomatoes - crushed (with a blender or grater). I was preparing to polecat for my husband, so in the pictures it is the number of products.
step-1
In a pan heat a little olive oil, stir in onion, chili and Basil stalks, season with cinnamon and cook on low heat for 5 minutes so the onions are softened. Increase the heat idobata tomatoes. From the tuna to drain the oil, and softening, to send to the tomatoes. Add a good pinch of salt.
step-2
Bring to the boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
step-3
Meanwhile, boil the pasta in salted water following the instructions on the package. When cooked, drain in a colander. Now, I don't know, maybe there are still such people who washed the pasta, so the pasta to rinse is NOT NECESSARY!
step-4
Mix well the pasta with tuna sauce and Basil leaves, add a little olive oil, zest and lemon juice, and Parmesan. Serve immediately!
step-5
Bon appetit!
