Pickled onions
Wonderful recipe! My family loves this bow: it goes well with barbecue, meat, I just love to eat it with bread. I hope You, cooks, useful this recipe! For the idea thanks to Elena Chernysheva.

Ingredients

  • Onion

    600 g

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Vinegar

    3 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Onion chopped (I rubbed on a grater) thin half-rings.

Add to the pot, add salt.

Add the vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar. Mix well.

A pot is put on a small fire and, stirring constantly onion, wait until it will give juice and will settle. If you like crunchy onions, you don't wait until you settle the whole.

Remove the pan from the heat and put in a Cup of cold water. Preventing onion, allow it to cool to room temperature.

Arrange the onion in a jar with a lid, and press it well with a spoon and put a few hours in the fridge.
