Description

Hello! I want to offer you to prepare a nice, hot snack with beer and Potato Skins. It is very tasty! But if you don't like beer with tomato juice is also delicious ))) "Potato skins" is an American recipe, the first dish appeared in 1974, the restaurant chain T. G. I. Friday's. And, by the way, it is still there in their menu!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    4 piece

  • Bacon

    100 g

  • Cheese

    100 g

  • Sour cream

    100 g

  • Green onions

    1 coup

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

step-0
Potatoes thoroughly wash and dry.
step-1
In a bowl pour a little vegetable oil and spread it over each potato.
step-2
Put potatoes into the form and bake in preheated oven at 200° until tender. Usually this is around 30-40 minutes.
step-3
While the skins bake, bacon slice and fry.
step-4
The potatoes are ready remove. The oven cannot be disabled at your discretion. Mine heats up fast so I shut down. When the potato has cooled enough not to burn my hands, cut each potato lengthwise into halves. From each half, remove the pulp, leaving a thin wall. I use this portunately, very convenient. The removed pulp can be used for cooking other dishes - mashed potatoes, casseroles, vegetable cutlets, etc.
step-5
Scraped half to grease the inside with vegetable oil and again put in the oven on 200° and bake for 7-10 minutes.
step-6
Popechenie, almost crunchy, skin remove from the oven, every to put a little grated cheese. The original recipe used cheddar, but I think that wouldn't be a crime to replace it with another semi-hard cheese.
step-7
Cheese spread-roasted bacon. This time I added a little fried bacon.
step-8
To put the skins in the oven, literally 5 minutes to make the cheese melted.
step-9
Ready (finally! D) skins remove from the oven, each put a little (although I love more!) of sour cream and sprinkle of chopped green onions.
