Description

Salad
One day recently, we discussed how the Russians make pizza, and what the Germans think borsch))) Here let me add my 5 cents to this topic. The recipe for this salad was found in a book about Bulgarian cuisine Bulgarian authors among banic, lutenit and gumaca. The Foundation resembles the familiar salad, but it is necessary to add a few ingredients (quite unexpected, I must say, especially if you remember that the salad is "Russian"), as it turns out... a totally different dish. Intrigued just a little??? Then come on in!

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Cucumber

    2 piece

  • Green peas

    150 g

  • Ham

    150 g

  • Olives

    150 g

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

    200 g

  • Lemon

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Mayonnaise

Cooking

step-0
It starts simple and even banal. Boiled potatoes cut into cubes
step-1
Boiled carrot cubes too
step-2
Boiled eggs diced
step-3
Ham...well, Yes, also diced
step-4
Pickles cut again cubes. I had the pickles, I cut pieces 7, but if you take the standard cucumber, that will be enough for 2-3
step-5
With peas, drain the liquid and add to other ingredients. Here is a familiar picture, isn't it??? Of course, what Russian does not like Olivier!
step-6
And here begin the surprises. Take celery root, peel and grate on a grater. I was big, I used a quarter gram to about 200.
step-7
Black olives, pitted cut into slices and add to the salad.
step-8
Before serving, salt, pepper, add the lemon juice and mayonnaise (without fanaticism!). Bon appetit!
