Traditional Swedish Christmas table sweet cabbage. Served as a side dish to ham and other meat dishes.

  • Carnation

  • Cinnamon

  • Salt

    1.5 tsp

  • The sugar syrup

  • Cabbage, red,

Place all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Although I was kept on the fire 40 minutes, the cabbage has retained elasticity, and I liked the result.
