Easter bread-cake
Congratulations to all the chefs on the light holiday of Easter! Delicious recipe for bread-cake, which I baked in explanation of the recipe from the book Yulia Vysotskaya. Easter baking is always the pastry and rich filling. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    470 g

  • Sugar

    6 Tbsp

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Yeast

    1 pack

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Raisins

    150 g

  • Walnuts

    150 g

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Vanilla pod

    0.5 piece

  • Cardamom

    2 piece

In a bowl, mix 450g of flour, 4 tbsp sugar, salt and yeast.

The milk is warmed, add to it 50g. softened butter, stir. Add warm thin stream into the dry mixture.

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes. You can use the harvester.

Formed from the dough ball, put in a deep bowl, cover with damp hot towel and put in warm place for 25-30 minutes.

Meanwhile, with orange and lemon remove the zest, squeeze the juice.

Raisins place in a saucepan, pour the juice, zest, 2 tbsp sugar, warmed on the fire and evaporate the liquid by about half. Grind the walnuts, add to them the pounded cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon. Raisins remove from heat, mix with the nuts. Combine the cooled mass with 150g. softened butter.

Roll out on the Board. Stepping back from the edge spread the filling. Roll up the roll.

Join roll into the ring. Spread on a baking sheet, cover with warm moist towel and leave to stand within 20 minutes.

On the ring make cuts about 2-3 cm, not cutting through to the end. Lubricates the beaten egg yolk and put in a preheated 200 degree oven for 15 minutes, and then diminish the temperature to 180 gr. and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
