Oddly enough, the chicken makes a great compote. Very tasty! If you have a pound of berries feijoa, I suggest to cook from them compote. Absolutely delicious, especially if you open the jars with compote in winter.

Ingredients

  • Feijoa

    0.5 kg

  • Water

    2 l

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Citric acid

    0.25 tsp

To prepare the compote feijoa - simple. The berries need to be washed. Cleaned feijoas don't need, I just carefully wash them with warm water. Trim the tips.

Sterilize them banks. Once all containers are sterilized, I evenly laid feijoa banks - about 1/3 of the jar.

Fill jars with feijoas to the top with boiling water and leave to cool water (about an hour).

Pour water in a saucepan. Add in the sugar and cook the syrup (about 30 minutes). In the end add citric acid.

Pour water into the container and screw caps. Banks turn on the night under the covers.
