Vol-AU-vents
Vol-AU-vent - it's not one word but three: vol au vent - which can be translated as "flight in the wind" or something like that. The name of these delicate puff pastries in French means roughly "the breeze". Also there is old Russian name for the vol-AU-vents - "Galicki". Cakes of unleavened puff pastry served with different soups.
