Sandwiches with mushrooms and eggs salad
What is served in the coffee bars of Rome or Venice, when the sun goes down, but before dinner a couple hours, and finished the working day the Italians habitually occupy the bar, ordering an aperitif? Served tramezzini (tramezzini) - elegant version of the American sandwich with various fillings or salads, where the basis is a special cut plates, dense crumb white bread. This bread outside of Italy is almost impossible to buy, but the bread for toast available. I often make tramezzini and want to share with you this idea!

Ingredients

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Mushrooms

    200 g

  • Onion

  • Garlic

  • Green onions

  • Mayonnaise

    2 Tbsp

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Lemon juice

    2 Tbsp

  • Spices

  • Butter

  • Olive oil

The bread for toast cut off the crust from all sides. Each of the pieces of rolled out with a rolling pin to make it more flat.

Finely chop the boiled eggs. To tablespoon of mayonnaise add the juice of a lemon, a teaspoon of mustard, salt and pepper to taste. Sauce stir well and add to the eggs. Gently mix everything together and put in refrigerator.

Finely chop the onion, garlic, and small mushrooms (I have mushrooms). In a pan heat butter and olive oil, put onion, garlic, and when they slightly change the color of the mushrooms. Sprinkle with lemon juice and stir. Add the spices and onion seedling. Fry on low heat, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Let cool. Then add a spoonful of mayonnaise (you can tsp), stir.

In the middle of each square put a tablespoon of filling.

Cover with a second square of bread and with each of the 4 sides tightly pressed against the handle of the knife. Carefully, with a sharp knife cut each square diagonally.

Spread the triangles on a platter, cover tightly with cling film and put in the refrigerator.
