Description

Potato soup-Saxon
Saxony with its capital Dresden is the most populous of the new States of Germany. There are three major cities – Leipzig, Dresden (capital land) and Chemnitz. The Saxon cuisine is influenced by Austrian, Czech and Silesian cuisine. Famous dishes is "the Leipzig stuff" (Leipziger Allerlei - a dish of braised young vegetables, sometimes with the addition of crayfish) and Dresden cake (Dresdner Stollen Christmas cake). Cultural proximity with Austria marked the beginning of coffee traditions in the region. The area is famous for: the curd, delicate egg tarts, muffins Leipzig, Meissen rolls, boiled pork leg, Saxon potato soup hot and sour. The area is ideal for white wines and of course beer (data from Internet). A real winter (and very budget) soup.

Cooking

step-0
That's all we need for cooking fragrant hearty soup.
step-1
Potato peel, wash, fill with water, podsalvage and cook until tender. While cooking the potatoes... finely chop the onion, grate on a fine grater celery added to the onions and celery cumin.
step-2
Small cubes cut the bacon and fry/vytaplivaete on a hot skillet, until Golden brown.
step-3
By this time the potato is cooked... drain off water into another container (we need that!), add to the potatoes onion, celery, and cumin and mash with a potato masher to puree. Add to mashed potatoes broth (to desired consistency of soup), salt to taste, add a pinch of sugar and black pepper, bring again to a boil, remove the soup from the heat and add the fried cubes of bacon along with the bacon fat, finely chopped greens.
step-4
Leave the soup to stand for (how many will suffer :) ), and then pour on plates.
step-5
I will add, good soup with croutons
step-6
And you can add in a plate of finely sliced salted red fish (Yes, delicious!) or finely chopped pickles, garlic - in General, the scope for imagination and budget :) Bon appetit!
