This snack I found once in the book on Russian cooking class. There were a lot of interesting recipes, but they were all prepared in the Russian furnace. This is a brilliant engineering marvel gone from our homes. In the section on the Royal kitchen and found this recipe. Because lawfully called this appetizer"Royal"

Cooking
Mash herring ROE with a fork. Remove film and stir well with soft butter.
