Jam from tomatoes
Akin to chutney, the jam has become for me an unexpected discovery, a very tasty addition to bread and cheese. This jam is fine for pancakes, meat chicken, Turkey, pork. And what smells soar when cooking: the aroma of ripe tomatoes and thyme, with spicy, warm aromas of cinnamon and cloves.

Ingredients

  • Tomato

    700 g

  • Sugar

    1.25 cup

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.25 tsp

  • Carnation

  • Ginger

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    3 Tbsp

  • Chili

    1 tsp

Cooking

I had cream. Wash tomatoes.

Chop coarsely.

Prepare the remaining ingredients.

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with thick walls.

Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally.

Reduce heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture becomes thick like jam, about 1 hour 30 minutes. At the end of cooking try and adjust seasonings according to your taste.

Be stored in the refrigerator will be exactly a week, but I have never stood so long.
