Gnocchi in a double boiler
I want to share a favorite in our family recipe. Simple, tasty and healthy! Children was eating for both cheeks. Come on in, help yourself!


  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Cheese

    50 g

  • Butter

    40 g

  • Vegetable oil

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Flour

    4 Tbsp


Prepare the necessary products. Potatoes previously boiled in their skins until tender. Cool and clean. Grate cheese on a fine grater.
Shred potatoes on a fine grater (like me) or in a blender. Add eggs, salt, pepper, half of the softened butter, half the grated cheese. Kind of knead the dough, adding only enough flour. The mixture should be not too tight, but to keep in shape. On average, this amount of ingredients you need to 6 tbsp of flour.
Generated gnokii and spread in a greased with vegetable oil the bowl of a double boiler. Do not worry that the mass sticks to your hands, just periodically moisten hands with water. Leave the steamer for 15-20 minutes.
After the required time put the finished gnocchi in a deep pan or mold, sprinkle the remaining grated cheese, sprinkle with rest of butter (pre-melt) and put on 5-10 minutes in the oven.
The time has come! Our dish is ready. Really love the gnocchi in combination with carrot in Korean. Bon appetit!!!
