Rice
This is one of the favorite side dishes in our family - rice, filled with the scent of Oriental spices. Until it's nice and self-sufficient that sometimes the meat is not necessary. Suitable for fasting, vegetarians and vegans. And is prepared at all easy!

Ingredients

  • Raisins

    1 Tbsp

  • Onion

    60 g

  • Figure

    250 g

  • Turmeric

    0.5 tsp

  • Carnation

    1 pinch

  • Cardamom

    2 piece

  • Garam masala

    1 tsp

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    270 ml

  • Salt

    1 tsp

Cooking

Small onion peel and cut into cubes. Raisins need my or we scald.

My rice to water transparency and allow to drain in a sieve.

Cooking spices, if necessary - cloves and cardamom crushed.

In vegetable oil fry the diced onion for 2 minutes till the end of the program, add spices, let it warm up.

Then put the rice, allow the oil to soak in. Upon completion of the program, add salt and raisins.

Pour 270 ml of boiling water, mix everything together, cover close. Select the program "Cereals", time 15 minutes. Attention! The water should cover the rice half an inch, so that the amount of water will vary in the limit of a tablespoon.

Upon completion of the program open the lid, stir with a fork and leave for 5 minutes by heating.
