Cooking

step-0
In Turkey we usually consumed fresh vegetables and fruit much more than canned or frozen. So, this dish is very delicious since it has fresh ingredients. If you use canned tomatoes and frozen or canned green beans instead of fresh - of course also possible. But you may not get the original taste.
step-1
As you know, a paste of red pepper is one of the foundations for the Turkish cuisine. If desired, add 1 tablespoon of the fried onions. I love vegetables in their natural color. I haven't used a paste of red pepper.
step-2
Wash and dry beans. Cut into 3 parts. To leave aside.
step-3
Fry the onions in olive oil. Add the beans and fry for 5 minutes. Peeled and chopped tomatoes grated and spread on top of beans, cover and simmer on medium heat for 45 minutes or until until beans change color. Ka see I did not add water but if you have a stick, add some water a little, or if you love giggle then a glass of water. My husband likes the liquid (although the liquid always leaves on a plate, like all Turks) on this I have to add some water and stew even easier:) Sprinkle with salt and stir. Let cool to room temperature, serve the dish cold. Green beans is one of the classic Turkish vegetable dishes with olive oil.
