When it boils, remove the foam, reduce the heat, cover and from this moment on, cook for about 3 hours.

Yes... in an hour, after boiling, add whole, peeled and washed carrots. The greens (parsley and dill) cut the stems, and is also added to the broth. A little salt. You can add black pepper.
