Cooking

step-0
Wash vegetables. Onions clear and finely chop, carrots to RUB on a large grater. In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil, add the chopped vegetables and crushed garlic clove. Sauté all for a couple of minutes until vegetables soften.
step-1
Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce (the Passat).
step-2
Immediately add a spoonful of sugar, spices to taste (dried oregano, Basil) salt and pepper. Optionally, you can pour 50 ml of wine. Stir, cover the pan and stew the sauce on low heat for 20-25 minutes.
step-3
After this time, add in tomato sauce and chunks of canned tuna (after draining the liquid from canned) and chopped parsley. Check the sauce for salt... Saute all together for another 5 minutes and remove from heat.
step-4
Let the sauce stand for about 15 minutes and serve!
step-5
The sauce goes well with pasta dishes (in my case spaghetti!).
