Description

Roll with herring
Found on the Internet - very tasty and very tender cake, goes well with potato dishes. Decided to cook for new year's table and to share this recipe with You.

Ingredients

  • Bow white

    1 piece

  • Herring

    300 g

  • Butter

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Pickled cucumber

    2 piece

  • Greens

Cooking

step-0
Onion, herring medium-sized slice, greens grind.
step-1
Beat butter (at least 5), whitening and splendor. Eggs grate or finely chop cucumber peel (so that the cream has turned soft), chop the dill. Add the eggs, cucumbers and dill into the cream, whisking for about 1 minute.
step-2
Cut a piece of cling film on it to spread: chopped greens in the form of a square or rectangle, then to the greenery spread a thin layer of onions.
step-3
On the greens with the onions put the sliced herring fillet.
step-4
Then, on herring put "cream". Try to spread this mixture does not make sense, since the pieces of herring will "jump" and jumping from his seat.
step-5
With film, gently roll all roll. No need to rush. Each coil wrapped tightly and the entire length of the roll through the film align and presses his hand. Pull the tape tightly, twist the ends, that the film was not disclosed and sent it in the fridge to cool no less than 4 hours. I left for the night. The next day, the loaf is ready for slicing.
step-6
The author of the recipe warns that there is BUT one. We have a "current" sink. butter, not that "recent". Solid water. And when cutting a roll this oil will not want to cut "like butter" and begin to crumble. So either give the loaf before slicing to lie on the table for 20 minutes so the butter melted a bit, or cut it, dipping the knife into a glass of hot water. Cut each slice immediately put on the dish in which it is served. And then, before serving, sent a sliced loaf in the fridge that each slice is well cooled. When the time comes to lay the table - just to get a loaf from the refrigerator and serve. Due to the whipped "cream" loaf very tender and tasty and one of the fans of herring did not leave indifferent.
