Walnuts in the glaze
You can't even imagine how delicious it is! This is not a dish, but rather a snack. Nuts get a sweet-and-salty, a little spicy. Well suited to champagne and wine. You can decorate these nuts dishes, salads. I saw something long ago on TV, I don't remember what program, these nuts were prepared by the chef Sergey Kuznetsov. Since then they have settled down here. And no holiday is complete without this snack.

Ingredients

  • Walnuts

    200 g

  • Honey

    0.333 cup

  • Soy sauce

    3 Tbsp

  • Chili

  • Nutmeg

  • Sunflower oil

Cooking

To prepare the nuts. It should be large, smooth halves. You can prick yourself. I bought walnut Premium in bulk. These are good nuts.

Mix the honey and soy sauce. To heat but not to boiling.

I took soy sauce TM Kikkoman.

Season with chili pepper (better to take the cereal in the mill), nutmeg, cardamom ( in a very simplified version of nutmeg and cardamom can be added, although the taste is not the same). Add the walnuts.

Bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir

Baking tray lay with foil and grease it well with oil.

Spread warm nuts onto the foil. If you like spicy you can add chili peppers.

Bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for 7-8 minutes.
