Description

Chocolate biscotti with dried cherries
Biscotto - the most popular Italian biscuit with a characteristic long and curved shape. Italian for "twice baked". This option is our favorite. In the holidays I bake every year. Cookies super chocolate, super delicious, but Maxi dry. As the crackers. But its so long you can keep that good oven in a week or two before the holidays, and then pretty packaging and gift.

step-1
To measure the right amount of sugar. Today we will bake with cane sugar Demerara.
step-2
Sugar and coarsely broken chocolate to put in the bowl of a blender.
step-3
Grind the mixture to a state of fine crumbs, as small as possible.
step-4
Flour and cocoa sift into a bowl, add baking powder. Mix well.
step-5
In a separate container thoroughly beat the eggs, adding salt and vanilla sugar.
step-6
Then add chocolate chips sugar and beat again for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
step-7
Gradually add to the mixture the sifted flour and cocoa and continue to mix.
step-8
The dough will be very viscous and sticky. With blades to mix the dough by hand.
step-9
Add the almonds and cherries. Mix well.
step-10
Sprinkle, spray on to the surface 1-2 tbsp of flour. To separate with a spatula half of the dough and lay it on the prepared surface. Flour is only needed so the dough doesn't stick to the desktop. To form a cushion of approximately 25 x 8 cm
step-11
Similarly, to deal with the remaining batter. Lay the cushions on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for 40 minutes. Then removed from the oven and allow 10 minutes to stand up.
step-12
Cut a small triangle from one end at the base (at a slight acute angle), then cut the whole rectangle into equal "slices", about 2 cm wide.
step-13
Lay biscotti cut one up (if the pan is small, put half). Send again in the oven for 10 minutes. Then flip the cookie with another slice, and up again to dry for 10 minutes.
step-14
Give the liver to cool and dry for hours. Then you can clean the container and keep it for quite a while.
step-15
And it is better to give! Happy New Year!!!
