Corn gnocchi with meat sauce
This is a dish I learned to cook from my aunt, she brought the recipe from Italy. Preparing for long and the result we really like.

Ingredients

  • Meat

    300 g

  • Onion

    3 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Tomato paste

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    700 ml

  • Corn flour

    1.5 cup

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Butter

    4 Tbsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Cooking

Flour pour into a bowl, beat the eggs, add the softened butter, season with a little salt

and grind until smooth.

Meat washed and cut into small pieces.

Onion cut into cubes.

Fry the meat in vegetable oil until Golden brown.

Add the onion and fry for a few minutes.

Then add the tomato paste (I used 1 teaspoon) and pour 0.5 liters of hot boiled water. Simmer over moderate heat. When the meat is almost ready, add salt.

From corn dough to separate the small pieces (the smaller the dumpling, so they are tastier, but the extreme is not worth it to go:-)) and drop them into the pan with the meat. Simmer all together under a cover on weak fire to readiness. As it thickens add hot water. At the end of cooking sprinkle with pepper (any) is a good choice.

I added chopped green garlic. Covered the pan with a lid, turn off the fire and leave for 10 minutes.
