C croutons baked Apple and cherry sauce
Delicious and colourful Breakfast that will appeal to both children and adults. Crispy French toast with baked apples in cherry sauce, not only a hearty Breakfast but they could be the final lunch, dessert, and a great dish for brunch.

Ingredients

  • Apple

    2 piece

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Bread

    7 slice

  • Milk

    100 ml

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • The juice of a freshly squeezed

    200 ml

  • Sugar

  • Potato starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

Start cooking with the sauce, because everything else is cooked very quickly. Cherry cleaned of seeds.

Grind the cherries in a blender until smooth and RUB through a sieve. To put the cherry puree in a saucepan, add the sugar and bring to a boil.

Starch to dissolve in water, to avoid lumps.

The diluted starch into the sauce, bring to boil and cook on low heat for 2 minutes, until it thickens. Allow to cool, stirring occasionally to the surface film was formed. The cherry sauce is ready.

Wash apples, cut into slices thickness of 5-7 mm, carefully cut the core with seeds to make a ring.

Now from slices of wheat bread with a sharp knife cut out circles the same diameter as the apples.

Preheat the frying pan. Melt in a pan with a small amount of butter. Pieces of bread dipped in egg-milk mixture and fry on medium heat from both sides until Golden brown.

Add to the pan a little more oil, put the apples and fry for 1 minute on each side. They should be slightly softened, but not too much.

Put fried apples on a baking sheet, sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Place in the oven, is included in the grill for a few minutes until the sugar melted and doesn't turn into a crispy crust on the surface of apples.

Now you can start to collect the "towers" desired height of the warm toast and baked apples with sugar and cinnamon.
