Nut-vanilla bagels
Continue to acquaint you with Slovak recipes. Today we start preparing for Christmas and New Year! Nut-vanilla bagels are baked in every Slovak home and claim that their recipe is the best! I chose one of them. Biscuits turns out very crumbly and tender. It is baked in advance, stored in banks. Treat guests and friends.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Butter

    130 g

  • Walnuts

    80 g

  • Powdered sugar

    30 g

  • Vanilla sugar

    50 g

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

Cooking

Mix all products except ingredients for sprinkle Knead the dough very soft. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in fridge for minimum hour.

To prepare the bagels I used cookie cutters.

Fill the test molds. Align the knife along the edge, removing excess dough. I got 60 pieces. Bake in preheated oven at 200 gr. 15-16 minutes. From the oven not to move! On the phone not to talk! Baked very quickly!

Ready bagels to choose from forms. Liberally sprinkle with powdered sugar with vanilla sugar.

To store bagels are special elegant Christmas cans or boxes. Biscuits remain crisp and delicious for a long time. I bake a few times. Most importantly, time to hide. But of course we need to save some for tasting. Help yourself!
