Infusion of Aronia
Many in the country is growing this shrub and it is often unfairly overlooked, but the berries are left for the winter birds... It's nice, but you can treat yourself to delicious and alcoholic drink - liqueur! On the website there are several options for making cordials and liqueurs, but mine is slightly different and very simple. Invite and treat!

  • Vodka

Chokeberry carefully to sort out from the twigs and leaves, rinse well in running water to drain.

Fill glass jars with berries to the top. Long, sharp knife to cut through the entire depth of the berries several times, so berry'd give the juice. Berries in a jar it settle a bit, back to bed is not necessary.

Pour the vodka berries so that it is fully coated. After 2-3 hours the berries will swell and rise, pour vodka to the top. Banks close kapron lids and put in a dark place for 3 weeks. Once a day the Bank needs a good shake, open the lid, close and again put in place.

After 3 weeks with a special cover to drain the fluid from the cans in a large pot. Of berries squeeze the juice and pour it into the pan. This can be done using the juicer, and you can scroll through the berries in a meat grinder and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth or a sieve. Add the sugar to the pan and put on low heat and stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar completely.
