Old Russian green soup
On site there are recipes for soup, but the other I found in an old book of Russian cuisine. So really prepared grandmother in Russia.

Ingredients

  • Water

    3 l

  • Potatoes

    5 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Sorrel

    2 coup

  • Bay leaf

  • Salt

  • Meat

Cooking

Boil the broth.

Cut the potatoes into large. Pour in boiling broth and cook for 10 minutes.

Make fries: cut onion finely, carrot RUB on a grater and fry in vegetable oil.

Sorrel cut into strips.

In the broth add the browned vegetables, Bay leaf, salt, pepper, sorrel and herbs. To bring everything to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes.

When serving put in a bowl the half of an egg and sprinkle with herbs. and you can put a spoonful of sour cream. (Just before serving the soup you can fill with egg-milk mixture. Take 2 egg yolks and 6 tablespoons of milk, mix well and pour into the pan.)
