Cooking
In a saucepan add the sugar and pomegranate juice in equal proportions.
Put on medium heat and bring to boil with constant stirring.
Boil the syrup for 5-10 minutes on low heat.
Let the syrup cool, then pour into a bottle or jar. The syrup is ready.
Syrup can be poured into desserts, ice cream. Grenadine is also used in alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails to impart a beautiful red color.
