  • Flour

    125 g

  • Butter

    60 g

  • Sugar

    75 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Lemon peel

    1 tsp

  • Soda

    1 pinch

RUB the flour, sugar and cut into small pieces cold butter into crumbs. I for these purposes use a food processor.

Add the egg, zest (my lemon and orange) and soda. Knead the dough. It is soft, pleasant to work with. Close the dough with cling film and leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Sprinkle the table surface with flour. Divide the dough into pieces the size of a walnut. I got 12 pieces.

Roll into a cigar and brush with egg. The thicker the product, the softer it is. The thinner, the crispier. I recommend to roll out the dough with a thickness of at least 0.8 -1 cm Bake in a preheated 220 degree oven for 10 minutes.
