Cod liver oil, prepared according to this recipe turns out very tasty, and at a cost much cheaper than store canned.

Ingredients

  • Cod liver oil

    1 kg

  • Salt

    1 Tbsp

  • Allspice

    10 piece

  • Black pepper

    10 piece

  • Bay leaf

    6 piece

Cod liver put in a colander, wash well under running water, sprinkle with salt, allow to drain

Take two 0.5-liter jars with screw caps, on the bottom put 3 leaf Lavrushka and 5 peas of black and fragrant pepper. Cod liver stacked in banks (for the shoulders), cover caps (do not tighten)

Put in a pot of water (water must be on hangers). Bring to the boil and reduce the fire, at a low boil stand 1 hour.

Remove jars from water, tighten the lid.

Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate.

PS: the refrigerator is stored for a month, that's for sure! For the longer term, we have not delayed the jar with the liver.
