Cherry Barbeque sauce
I want to share an incredibly delicious cherry sauce, which will serve as the perfect complement to any kind of meat. It is suitable for poultry and pork, beef and even rabbit. Cherry has a very bright and at the same time delicate taste. Sauce of cherries, it turns out spicy, rich, sharp. And despite the large amount of sugar and honey in the recipe, the jam you just will not work. The sauce turns out a sufficient amount of, it is perfectly stored in the refrigerator for months in a glass jar. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Red onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Sauce

    2 cup

  • Cherry

    1.5 cup

  • Brown sugar

    0.66 cup

  • Orange juice

    0.333 cup

  • Honey

    0.25 cup

  • Vinegar

    0.25 cup

  • Soy sauce

    2 Tbsp

  • Chili

    1 tsp

  • Powder mustard

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

    1 tsp

  • Pepper Cayenne

    0.125 tsp

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Reheat in a saucepan or deep frying pan oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped red onion (or plain onion) and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add chopped garlic and fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add tomato sauce, cherries, brown sugar, orange juice, honey (or molasses), vinegar, soy sauce (I have naturally brewed soy sauce TM Kikkoman), chili powder, mustard, salt, black pepper, Cayenne pepper and stir. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cook until thick, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
