Mulled Wine
Culinary journey - contest "new year tastes of the planet!" continues. Today we are in Germany and try a Christmas drink - mulled wine.

Ingredients

  • Dry red wine

    200 ml

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Black tea

    1 pack

  • Sugar

    1.5 tsp

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Carnation

    3 piece

  • Cinnamon

    0.17 tsp

  • Cognac

    50 ml

1. Brew strong black tea.

2. Pour red wine into the pan.

3. Add rind of orange and lemon, cloves and cinnamon, heat to 90 degrees, in no case do not boil!!! Mulled wine in any case can not bring to a boil. As natural ground coffee, it is in this state immediately loses its wonderful taste, but still a fair share of alcohol!

4. Add freshly squeezed juice of half an orange and a little lemon juice.

5. Add sugar.

6. Dilute freshly brewed tea and cognac and leave to infuse for 20 minutes.

7. Pour into tall glass, garnish with orange slice.
