Old yeast donuts
Delicious, sweet donuts with raisins, candied fruit and lemon. It will come to the Pancake week for serving guests. The dough is prepared oparnym way, pressed yeast "Luxury Extra". They should cook!!!


  • Milk

    125 ml

  • Yeast

    15 g

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Sugar

    100 g

  • Lemon peel

    0.5 piece

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Yolk egg

    3 piece

  • Raisins

    50 g

  • Candied

    50 g

  • Cinnamon

    1 pinch

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Rum

    1 Tbsp

  • Egg white

    1 piece


In milk dissolve the yeast with 1 tbsp flour, 1 tsp sugar. Mix well and pour into the recess of the sifted flour. The dough cover with a towel and put in warm place to rise for 15 minutes.
When the leavened dough will increase in 2 times, and formed on the surface visible cracks, you can add other products. It shows what a wonderful result gave fresh yeast "Luxury Extra"!
Add to the dough all the ingredients, except raisins and candied fruit. Put in a warm place to rise and increase in 2 times.
After the dough the first time, to press down it and add the candied fruit and raisins. Again leave for the second rise.
When the dough is ready, roll it to a thickness of about 1 cm on a floured table. Cut into rectangles about 3 x 10 cm
Spread on the baking sheet, give them time for another 15 - 20 minutes, covered with a towel. Bake at 180 degrees for about 20 - 30 minutes (focus on your oven, the color of the products and the readiness to splinter). Cool on wire rack.
Make the glaze: egg protein vzbit in dense mass. Powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon and rum, combine with beaten egg whites. Applied to the surface of donuts.
