Jam from pears with poppy seeds

Ingredients

  • Pear

    1.5 kg

  • Sugar

    400 g

  • Mac

    2 Tbsp

  • Lemon

    1 piece

Peel the pears from the skin and seeds and cut into small slices. Fold fruit in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

Add lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan. The recipe had to leave for 1 hour to let the pear juice, but I left for the night. In the morning, it turned out :) the Juice came out quite, not visible in the photo.

Put the saucepan on the fire, bring the contents to a boil, cook for 20 min stirring constantly and collecting the foam.

To defer half of the jam in a separate container and grind in a blender, puree. Mix both parts of the jam and add the washed Mac.

Put the pot of jam on the fire, bring to boil and cook for 20 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly.

Spread cooled at room temperature jam on pre-sterilized banks. To seal the jars. Store at room temperature.
