I wanted a salad with crab sticks, once popular in our family. But the store to buy crab sticks does not want. Not cause they have more appetite. So I decided to cook them myself. Of course, they will differ in structure and color from the store, but the smell is very similar and the taste we liked. While we've only tried a traditional salad that was eaten, other ways of their use we have not yet tried, but will! Can someone come in handy for the recipe. Help yourself to health!

Cooking

step-0
Fish fillets (I Pollock) cut into pieces, remove seeds. Dry seaweed or nori sheets grind in a coffee grinder (you need 2 tbsp prepared powder). Please note that in the recipe use soy sauce "kikkoman" less sodium, so note, please, the amount of sauce if you use a more salty sauce.
step-1
Fish fillet grind in a blender along with ground pepper and sea cabbage or mince and add spices later. In the fish mince, add soy sauce "kikkoman" and mix thoroughly. To shift the meat in a saucepan and on slow fire, bring to boil, stirring occasionally. If the mince starts to stick to the pan, then add 100 ml. of water.
step-2
Potato starch is diluted with cold water (50ml.) and, add in the fish fillet, mixing thoroughly. Cook until thick. At this stage can be cooked in a microwave oven.
step-3
Ready Massa put in a rectangular shape, chill, cut in the shape of sticks and freeze. I have a lot of plastic it turns out, I each stick is wrapped in foil and frozen. To prepare salad, lightly thaw the required number of sticks, cut into cubes. Salad cubes retain their shape for a long time but it is not worth it. Often instead of paprika and seaweed add crab spice, which is the main flavoring. It is prepared by drying and rations of crab and shrimp has added to the home 200 gr. shrimp meat. But we are such ingredients in the store to buy, not appetizing at all. Because this recipe can not say anything. My version we liked. Try! Experiment!
