Cooking
To connect softened at room temperature, butter, cane sugar and egg. Why use brown cane sugar instead of granulated sugar? Unlike ordinary granulated sugar, the brown sugar can make this cookie crispy much.
Whisk for 3 minutes-should get a homogeneous mass.
To combine the flour, ground ginger, cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg (optional) and baking powder. And mix well.
Putting it all together and knead elastic dough. Put into the fridge for 30 minutes.
Then share the dough into two parts, one harvested back in the fridge. And the other is rolled between two sheets of baking paper. It is very comfortable — with a layer of easy to handle, roll out smoothly. And so the dough will absorb the excess flour. The reservoir should be about 7 mm thick.
Preheat the oven to 185 degrees. Prepare a baking tray with baking paper. Make dough figurines. Shapers if not, you can just squeeze mug Cup.
Place figures on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
In size they are almost not increase. Allow them to cool completely.
And now the most interesting - decoration. I used pencils and sugar sprinkles. Here will be the perfect icing. Store the cookies in a container with a tight lid.
Made two choices. The first one is more concise, without bright accents.
A second option is ideal for a children's party.
