Barley biscuits
Perhaps the presence of barley in baking, but still sweet, may seem strange, but believe me, cookies are very tasty and flavorful! Friable and crispy pastry reminiscent of kurabe. Ingredients

  • Flour

    1.25 cup

  • Flour barley

    1 cup

  • Margarine

    100 g

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Soda

    1 tsp

Margarine to mix with sugar, add eggs and beat all thoroughly.

Mix flour with baking soda and barley flour (if you do not find in the store barley flour, can I use fine ground barley and grind it in a coffee grinder - I did). Pour flour mixture into the egg-margarineis but one mass. Knead the dough (may need to add a bit of wheat flour - how much dough).

Roll out the dough with a layer of 4-5 mm. can Cut as you like. Put cookies on sheet and bake in a preheated 150-160 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Finished cookies will take a yellowish-brownish color.
