Beet sorbet with pineapple, brown sugar and green tea
Love the vinaigrette? and beet salad with nuts? maybe you've tried a cupcake with beets? Good? can you imagine ice-cream and beets? Bright and elegant in appearance, light with a delicate, sour-sweet and refreshingly tart taste with aromas of green tea, pineapple and lemon?? It is very tasty and does not have to wait for summer to try - help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Beets

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Pineapple

    150 g

  • Brown sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Glucose syrup

    2 Tbsp

  • Green tea

    1 tsp

We need the beets - wash it and boil - I do this in a double boiler (photo 3 beets need only 1)

Boiled beets cool and peel. While cold beet brew 1 teaspoon of green tea in 70 ml. of water also cooled and filtered.

Pineapple cut into cubes

Beets also cut into cubes and add to the pineapple

From lemon squeeze the juice in a container with pineapple and beetroot

Also, we need glucose syrup (use is optional - but desirable - the consistency will be more stable, this sorbet melts slower and freezing, does not form large crystals)- that's how it looks:

And brown sugar from the Mistral

Added to watered lemon juice cubes of beet and pineapple brown sugar (about 3 tablespoons't need brought itself is sweet, the pineapple also)

Add the cooled green tea and all Porirua and blend into a homogeneous lush mass
