Description

Cherry jam
Very tasty, moderately sweet with a little sour cherry jam recipe from my grandmother. Just be prepared, and eaten in a matter of minutes. Perfect for baking or just for tea a bit of sugar.

Ingredients

  • Cherry

    3 kg

  • Sugar

    1 kg

  • Soda

    1 tsp

Wash the cherries and weigh 3 kg.

Cleaned from stones and stems.

Grind in a meat grinder.

To put on strong fire, bring to boil and, not subtracting the fire, was evaporated to 40 minutes. Be sure to stir periodically.

Add the baking soda. Rise foam green in color (do not worry)! After a couple minutes of mixing it will fall off, and cherries will again become red.

Add sugar, bring to boil and, not subtracting the fire, was evaporated to 40 minutes. Don't forget to stir.

Pour into sterilized jars (makes 3 half-liter bottles).

Close lids, turn over, cover with a towel and leave until cool. At room temperature, perfectly preserved! Bon appetit!
