Waffle strawberries
Delicious and easy to make. Perfect to decorate a cake or as a standalone cake. Especially popular with the children.

Ingredients

  • Waffles

    500 g

  • Sour cream

    5 Tbsp

  • Citric acid

    0.2 tsp

  • Beets

    1 piece

Waffles is better to take light, then the strawberries will be more striking. But dark chocolate would also work. I had dark. Waffle grate on a fine grater.

Citric acid is dissolved in sour cream. To the resulting wafer crumbs add sour cream with citric acid, and knead a soft dough.

When your dough is ready to dazzle strawberries, put them on a plate or in a form (I used a form from under the eggs with foil) and put into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

Beets clean, wash, grate and squeeze the juice. Received strawberries in turns to dip in beet juice and remove back on the tray.

Dip all strawberries 3-4 times. They will turn bright Burgundy, like overripe strawberries.

Ready strawberries lightly sprinkled with sugar and put into the refrigerator, so that they become stronger. These strawberries to decorate the cake or edible to fill their basket and serve as cakes. Enjoy your tea :)
