These vigorous sweet and sour cucumbers are ideal for pizza and sandwiches, will revive their taste and will add a touch of spice. On the website there are a couple of similar recipes but mine is different marinade and the presence of sweet pepper, which adds a special flavor!

Cooking
To cook vegetables: cucumbers, peppers and onions.
Put the cucumbers in a deep bowl and pour boiling water for 2 minutes.
Then drain the water and rinse cucumbers with cold water. Cucumber, onion and pepper finely chop (cucumber - slices, onion and pepper - half-rings). Sprinkle the vegetables with salt and mix well. Cover with a plate and under a press to put in the fridge. I usually leave overnight and in the morning proceed to the marinade. You can leave for 3-5 hours.
Then drain the juice and rinse well under water. Begin to prepare the marinade: in a saucepan pour the vinegar, add the sugar, the highlanders and the seeds of fennel, cloves and allspice. Cook, stirring, until the sugar is dissolved.
Cucumbers move in a large pan, pour the marinade, bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Arrange the cucumbers in sterilized jars, pour a little of the marinade and roll up. Banks to turn upside down, wrap up warm and leave to cool slightly.
