According to the results of my blitz-poll among friends and acquaintances, the most popular dish of beans - pea soup. Offer another option, probably the most ancient of "pre-Columbian era" when there were no potatoes, no tomatoes, no beans. But the peas were. And barley was the first cultivated cereal. In modern kitchens it less and less use, but in the Baltic States to treat him with respect.

Soak the peas together with barley for 3-4 hours. It is better to go in the fridge. If the parsley is dry, and its there too.
Add the diced chopped onions, carrots and pork. To cook on weak fire, without rapid boiling until tender barley: peas cooked before. Get the pearls in a pea, almost a puree. Not like mashed potatoes, you can take not crushed, but whole peas. In the finished soup add the salt, if the meat was not too salty, and freshly ground black pepper.
When applying in each plate put a little bit of julienne sliced brisket. To submit soup, homemade rye bread with malt, caraway seeds.
