The Russian-made cheeses arrived in Spain and harmoniously blended in Spanish cooking. Tortilla is one of the most popular dishes of Spanish cuisine. It is served in virtually all restaurants and tapas bars as a snack, as a filling in sandwiches or as a separate dish (tomato bread). It's amazing how three very cheap base ingredient - potato, onion and eggs in combination give such a delicious and hearty dish. And if you add a layer of cheese and ham, it will sparkle with new flavors and delight your guests. A great option for those who shelled out for the new year and plans to cover the budget table for Christmas and old new year.

Cooking
Ingredients. Cheese merchant Belebeevsky MK with its sweet note, perfect for this recipe.
Onions cut into thin half-rings, salt and pepper and sauté in olive oil over low heat, stirring frequently, about 30 minutes.
Onions will greatly decrease in volume and will become the color of caramel.
Cut the potatoes into thin slices and fry in olive oil until Golden brown.
Eggs slightly vzbit, add salt and pepper to taste. Spread prepared onions and potatoes in a bowl, pour the beaten eggs and stir well. Spread half the mixture into a pan greased with olive oil, put the slices of ham and cheese.
On top lay the rest of the lot, cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Flip onto a plate and return to the pan, not roasted side down and cook for another 10 minutes. For tortillas (and Fritti and many other dishes) is very convenient to use a double pan. Cooking time can vary depending on what kind of tortilla you like - more humid (cook less) or more dry (cook longer). The tortilla is tasty and cold, so it is convenient to prepare the day before and take with you on a picnic.
