Description
A classic Greek baked cookies Scalzone (took the recipe on the website coolinar. EN) and decided to change it to taste of our family. Simplified the dough and changed the filling, I thought, easier. The taste is nutty, with a pleasant hint of orange peel and star anise.

Cooking
A decoction of rose hips to combine with vodka, vegetable oil. Add the flour, sugar, salt, soda (no quenching) and knead the dough. Flour may need a little more (it depends on the quality of flour). The dough should be soft, pleasant to work with and when cut it is easy to step away from the knife. Nuts fry in the oven (so they taste better) and clean. Grind nuts in a blender (but not into a paste, and felt the structure of nuts), mix them with honey, apricot jam and star anise, cloves and zest of one orange. You can add any spices to your taste (the original recipe - cinnamon). I even put a pinch of cardamom. Add the starch.
Divided into 32 portions. Spread each (I did it by hand.the dough is very obedient and a pleasure to work with him), giving the shape of a circle not very thin.
In the middle put the filling (about 1 tsp) and very easily without much pressure to connect (in the original recipe you need to sculpt the way we sculpt the dumplings, but I made them triangle)
Put the cookies on the baking sheet, the laid parchment and bake in the heated oven at 180" 30-35 minutes until Golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Prepare these cookies You will not regret it. It is prepared simply. It was difficult to describe the cooking process. I will definitely use this dough with other fillings (e.g. jam) - loved it! Enjoy your tea!!!
