Immediately warn you - it's not quite a classic recipe, and so to say, adapted to the everyday life of ordinary families with a chronic lack of time.

Prepare low-fat beef broth, preferably on marrow bones. For the lazy (like me) can make a lot and freeze portions, so that six months was enough (and borscht, and all the rest). In a pinch you can use canned, just not instant. I prefer to skim the fat from the cooled broth, but many Vietnamese do not agree with me. Finished in clear broth add the spices in gauze bag put a stick of lemon grass, ginger, cardamom and cloves, and cook on low heat for 20 minutes. At the very end add the fish sauce (this is a classic, I have a fish Allergy, so I substituted soy sauce - quite!). Run salt and add the sugar.

Slightly frozen meat cut into very thin slices (no more than 2 millimeters thick) and leave.

Soak the rice vermicelli (thin transparent glassy noodles do not need cooking. Fill it with warm water and it is ready. You can certainly use another, but then you have to boil).

Cut the onion into half rings, hot pepper rings. Mint leaves, Basil, cilantro not cut, and even do separates. Put the sprouts as is (just washed of course). The lemon or lime cut into slices. Each Supplement - in their particular plate.

And now the focus. On the table lit the burner and put the pot of boiling broth. All supplements, noodles and raw meat should already be on the table. If you don't have a burner or just a bummer, follow the above procedure in splendid isolation at the plate (before serving). Just keep in mind that cooking still need 3-4 piece, or the soup will get cold.

Supplements gain every consumer's taste. I love it all. A slice of lemon/lime squeezed into the bowl right before eating. The procedure can be repeated several times (all depends on the size of the pan with the broth).
