Yes, with pickled mushrooms. My summer childhood was spent in a small town on the don. And it is from this set of products my grandmother was cooking this dish. Of course, it was just a casserole, or mashed potatoes with mushrooms in the pan. I often do this. Lean and very tasty dish, but the mushrooms must be salt, any kind, but salty.
