For many Housewives soy sauce of exotic spices became simply irreplaceable ingredient that gives familiar dishes of new flavors. For example, chicken with soy sauce — very tasty and flavorful dish, with an interesting cooking technique, and as a result, interesting taste. For this dish it is desirable to have a wok, or at least a deep pan.

Cooking
For this dish we'll need a small chicken. Rinse the chicken under running water inside and outside. Dry on paper towel.
In a small saucepan, mix 350 ml of water with star anise and Sichuan pepper (I have this pepper was not, I took black pepper). Bring the water to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, until the liquid is boiled to 180 ml
Finely chop the onion. Heat a skillet on high heat, pour olive oil, add the ground ginger to taste and chopped onion, fry for 20 seconds. Put fried onions with ginger inside chicken.
Deep frying pan or wok, put on the fire, pour soy sauce "Kikkoman" sherry, cooked in a flavored liquid, add sugar.
Put the chicken in the wok to the side. Pour the sauce within 10 minutes (continuously).
Turn noticeably tanned chicken on the other side, and continue watering it for another 10 minutes (If you evaporate a lot of sauce, add 50 ml of water).
Cover the wok tightly with foil and cook the chicken on low heat for 20 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for another 20 minutes. To check whether the chicken is ready, pierce it with a fork in the center of the thigh. If the juice is clear, it is ready. If not, cook for another 10-20 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the wok. Serve with fresh steamed rice and sauce from the chicken. Bon appetit!
