Chicken in ginger-orange sauce
Tender chicken in rich, flavorful orange sauce with a light stinging touch of ginger – this is an unusual and very tasty dish will decorate any holiday table.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast

    500 г

  • Orange

  • Ginger

    1 ст. л.

  • Green onions

    1 пуч.

  • Soy sauce

    2 ст. л.

  • Vegetable oil

    2 ст. л.

  • Pepper

    2 шт

  • Corn starch

    1 ч. л.

Chicken breast, wash, fillet is separated from skin and bones. Meat cut into thin strips, put in bowl and pour soy sauce. Mix well.

Bulgarian pepper to wash, remove the seeds and stem. The flesh is cut into thin strips. Green onions washed, cut into slices length of 5 cm.

In a saucepan heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil, put the chopped bell pepper and stir-fry for 4 minutes.

Add to the pepper and green onions and fry another couple of minutes. Vegetables in a bowl.

The remaining MSLO pour into a saucepan, put the meat and sauté for 8 minutes. Meat combine with vegetables and mix well.

For the sauce: in a bowl, mix the zest of 1 orange (1 tbsp), juice of 1 orange (150 ml) grated ginger (1 tbsp) and corn starch (1 tsp).

The mixture is poured into a saucepan and warm up for 3 minutes.

Meat with vegetables, pour sauce and mix thoroughly. Half orange, peeled, cut into thin slices. Add to the skillet and cook, stirring constantly, for a few minutes.
