Pork in brandy with cous-cous
A simple dish, but very delicious.

Ingredients

  • Couscous

    100 г

  • Onion

  • Pork

    250 г

  • Cognac

    120 мл

  • Cream

    50 мл

  • Thyme

    3 шт

  • Mushrooms

    20 г

  • Olive oil

    2 ст. л.

  • Allspice

  • Salt

First we need to slice the onions and meat.

Onion cut into half rings, meat - thin long strips, soak the mushrooms in a small amount of hot water.

You need to take a cauldron or pan with a thick bottom (because you need to save the liquid). Fry the onion in olive oil 2 min., then add the meat.

Fry for 2 minutes on low heat. Then pour in a pot the cognac. Close the lid so the liquid from boiling over. After 2 - 3 mins add the mushrooms and 2 tablespoons water from the mushrooms, a few sprigs dry thyme. Fry with the lid on for 7 min.

Couscous put in a glass or deep bowl. Pour the liquid, which was formed after cooking of meat and mushrooms. Leave for 5 mins and close the lid. In the pan with the meat and mushrooms add the cream, salt, pepper. Mix well and after 1-2 min. add couscous. Mix and spread on plates. Decorate with sprigs of fresh thyme. Bon appetit.
