Cooking
Cabbage chop, pour cold water, add salt and pepper. Bring to boil and simmer on medium heat for 15-30 minutes. All depends on the variety of cabbage. It should be soft.
Until cooked cabbage, chop the onion half rings and carrots grate.
In skillet, heat vegetable oil and fry the onion and carrots for 1-2 minutes.
Cut the potatoes into medium dice and rinsed in cold water to remove excess starch.
Measure the amount of lentils and rinse it well.
With the pan with the onions and carrots with water, bring to the boil and add the washed lentils. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add the potatoes and simmer for another 10 minutes. In the beginning of cooking I have not calculated the size of the dishes, so I had this step quickly shift.
By that time the cabbage is ready. Add it also to the rest of the vegetables. Simmer another couple of minutes and turn off heat.
You can now add soya sauce and give our dish a distinctive taste. Season with salt to desire taste, as the soy sauce is already salty. Also put the Bay leaf, cover and let stand 15 - 20 minutes.
