Description

Turkish soup with red lentils
Mmm... this is one of the favorite soups in our family, it is very quick and easy, only 20 minutes and prepared a hearty first course, this soup was a godsend when you need something to cook for lunch. Despite the fact that the recipe is meatless, I think it will appreciate and meat-lovers, the taste of it is not lean.... Share the recipe:

Cooking

step-0
Cut into cubes one medium onion in the saucepan in which to cook the soup, fry the onion in olive oil until Golden brown.
step-1
The bow was a nice color, add tomato paste and lightly fry for just one minute, if needed add some water.
step-2
I put a paste of sweet red peppers (this is a Turkish pasta that is often sold in specialized stores Oriental goods ), you can put an ordinary dry paprika, or do without this Supplement, the taste of the soup will not become worse.
step-3
While we prepare zazharku, thoroughly washed red lentils. And pour it in a pan with onions, stir.
step-4
Fill with water, it is better hot/boiling water, I have a pot on 2l – just get the optimal ratio of water-lentils. The soup is boiling, remove the formed foam, and leave to cook on a small fire for 15-20 min and almost at the end of cooking – salt, pepper to taste.
step-5
Red lentils are quick cooking, for 15 minutes they break down. You can blend the soup - get soup, so I leave.
step-6
Definitely in the soup squeezing a little lemon juice -0.5 to 1 teaspoon, to taste, lemon is ideal for this dish and makes the taste even richer.
step-7
I like this soup with crackers or croutons, and greens – green onions.
step-8
Served to the table, Bon appetit!
