Perhaps there are still cooks who either never eaten kohlrabi, or do not understand its taste. Until recently it was the case and I have not yet tried this amazing salad from Muhabbat! 2 tbsp. sesame seeds fry in a dry pan until Golden brown or darker, but not bitter.
Closer kohlrabi is a wonderful vegetable, a storehouse of vitamins and useful substances only! The content of vitamin C kohlrabi is superior to lemon and orange.
Kohlrabi wash, peel and grate "Korean carrot". The original recipe stated owned this grater because the taste of vegetables with this cutting harmonious and crisp.
Piece of fresh ginger root peel and grate. We need 1 tsp prepared ginger. To substitute fresh ginger for dried not suggest - fresh ginger is very different in taste.
Mix kohlrabi with grated ginger.
Make the dressing. In a separate bowl, mix the vinegar, vegetable oil, honey, thyme, salt. Mix everything.
To the salad add half of the sesame dressing, stir and let it stand to soak - I was eating once! I also added a little chopped parsley for an even more beautiful combination!
When serving, sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds and decorate with parsley
